'Pokémon Go' Raked in $500 Million USD Faster Than Any Other Game Ever
Catching all the monies.

Although enthusiasm for Pokémon Go has waned quite a bit, the mobile video game continues to find itself in the record books. From the most downloaded app in its first week ever to the fastest to reach 50 million installs on Google Play, App Annie has announced that the Niantic Labs-designed product has become the fastest game ever to reach $500 million USD in revenue. Doing so in just 60 days, Pokémon Go surpassed Candy Crush, which reached the monetary milestone in just over 200 days. The report also states that it is on track to hit a $1 billion USD in revenue by year-end.
Now that it will soon be playable on the recently unveiled Apple Watch 2, a cool billie doesn’t seem far-fetched at all.
