Longtime collaborators mastermind JAPAN and adidas Originals join forces once again to release a two-piece footwear offering in conjunction with the changing seasons. Unsurprisingly the ever-popular adidas NMD XR1 is subject of this limited edition release, featuring a predominantly black color scheme reflective of designer Masaaki Homma’s penchant for punk flair. White mastermind branding throughout, reflective lacing, and a Boost midsole provide the finishing touches to the sleek design. The second part of the collaboration sees one of the more unheralded Three Stripes models in the Tubular Instinct offered in an equally impressive leather-clad makeup. The high-top lifestyle silhouette boasts toe perforations, a heel zipper, reflective lacing, and mastermind’s skull and bones logo embossed along the heel counter. Peruse the latest mastermind JAPAN x adidas Originals collaboration above and purchase both pairs at mastermind locations and select adidas Originals accounts this fall.
