maharishi's 2016 Fall/Winter Campaign Video Sees a Diverse Range of Outerwear
Camouflage hoodies, patchwork coats and more.
maharishi continues to offer an eclectic batch of upcycled military clothing for 2016 fall/winter. In a new campaign video dubbed “Post-Geographic Devotional Uniform & Habits: Part II,” the London-based brand showcases a handsome assemblage of utilitarian products that are primarily influenced by the habits of Tibetan Buddhist monks. Moreover, the theme of “devotion” rings incessantly throughout the collection—possessing insignia, patches and badging that resemble those of military squadrons, tribes and spiritual followings to name a few. All in all, the label culls an autumnal palette with the color Lama dominating the entire lineup. Standout items include an Upcycled Cavalry Coat featuring French, Italian and Swedish military surplus, a Knitted Ballistic Vest, and the Camo Zoku Tour Jacket with patch embroideries.
