Vans and Madrid Skateboards Bring Back the Flypaper Sk8-Hi Pro
Celebrating two anniversaries at once.
2016 marks the 40th and 50th anniversaries of Madrid Skateboards and Vans respectively, resulting in a collaborative celebration of the skateboarding DNA that both brands share. As the first griptape manufacturing company, Madrid Skateboards has operated in Huntington Beach since 1976, marking 40 years of crafting skateboard accessories. Both brands have fused to generate a unique Sk8-Hi Pro as part of Vans’s 50th Anniversary Pro Classics collection. Decorated with Madrid Flypaper on the side panels, this edition of the Vans x Madrid Sk8-Hi Pro also features ULTRACUSH HD sock liners and DURACAP toe bumpers to deliver the ideal skating shoe.
