Travis Scott to Host Secret Album Listening Party With Apple Music in Los Angeles
With installation by James Turrell of “Hotline Bling.”

Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight is Travis Scott’s second studio album, set to release this Friday, August 12 via Grand Hustle. Some of hip-hop’s currently most revered alongside past collaborators (think Kid CuDi, Roy Woods, 21 Savage, Rihanna, The Weeknd, Future and PartyNextDoor) are featured on the LP alongside producers Metro Boomin, Zaytoven and DJ Mustard. During a show on Coney Island last month where he performed his new single “Picked Up The Phone,” the rapper announced that his latest album will drop on August 5, yet the date passed with no sign of release. Today, Travis updated his Instagram with a flyer suggesting that there’ll be a listening party this Friday in an undisclosed location in Los Angeles with his DJ Chase B. The party will also feature an installation by James Turrell, a conceptual LA-based artist who in the past worked on Drake’s “Hotline Bling” music video set. Stay tuned for more information as it surfaces.
