Stone Island's Multi Layer Ice Jacket Changes Color According to Temperature
A spectrum of translucent greens and greys
Stone Island presents the flagship piece of its 2016 winter/fall collection. This translucent nylon down coat is built with a thermo-chromatic coating that changes color according to temperature variations. The molecules of the coating’s microencapsulated pigments morph when temperatures drop, causing the semitransparent fabric to darken from green to grey. The thermo-sensitive shell features patch and flap pockets with side and top entrances. Signature Mussola Gommata applique embellishes the shoulders, sleeves and central placket. The drawstring at the waist in addition to both zip and Velcro fastening makes for a multifaceted, secure fit. The Multi Layer Ice Jacket is now available at HAVEN for $1791 USD.
