ROKIT Pays Homage to the Greatness of Muhammad Ali
‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.’
Los Angeles-based label ROKIT unveils its latest capsule drop, commemorating one of America’s most celebrated athletes, the late, great, Muhammad Ali. The tees feature illustrations drawn by Ali himself, who is considered to also have been a bit of a visual artist. Born on January 17th, 1942 as Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr., his fights often started before the bell — as he would have already broke down his foe’s psychological barriers through his notorious trash-talking. Ali also used this unlimited swagger and verbal prowess in the form of poetry and spoken word, which was displayed on talk shows, and even a full studio album. To pick up a tee from the collection, head over to the ROKIT webstore now.
