Firmament Unveils a Berlin-Inspired New Balance Epic TR L40
A dark homage to the city’s brutalism.
New Balance and Firmament have collaborated to develop the L40, a re-work of the Epic-TR sneaker. The model is named and modelled after the Linienstrasse 40 building, a dark, brutalist structure located in Berlin’s Mitte district. The custom colorway reflects the building’s concrete facade: grey suede uppers and black suede on the toe, tongue and padded collar make for a toned-down take on the football shoe. Flat laces come with uniquely Firmament-branded lace locks, while New Balance branding adorns the tongue and heel counter. The Berlin-inspired Epic TR L40 is available at stockists such as Très Bien for 170€ EUR (approximately $190 USD).
