This Hanon x Diadora Collaboration Receives a Left Field Inspiration -- Steroids
An unconventional backstory.

The usual route when it comes to Olympic collabs is your patriotic red, white and blue or the colorway of another respective country. Part of Diadora’s 7 sneaker shop collaboration, Hanon’s version for a silhouette receives a unique inspiration. Using the IC 4000 model, the kicks take its design influence from one thing many try to avoid in relation to the global games: steroids. Dubbed “Yellow Eyes,” the offering mixes light teal with yellow to translate one of the symptoms that reveals an athlete is doping.
The theme is in relation to Diadora representative, Ben Johnson, who had his Olympic gold medal for the 100m stripped from him due to steroid use back in 1988 during the games in Seoul.
The Hanon x Diadora IC 4000 “Yellow Eyes” will exclusively be available at Hanon on August 6.
