The Avalanches Postpone European Festival Shows Due to Health Concerns
“…due to a medical condition requiring treatment in Australia, Tony has been advised against international travel for the next few months.”

After 16 years under the radar, Australian outfit The Avalanches returned to the scene this month with their sophomore album Wildflower. The band had scheduled a string of festival shows in Europe to coincide with the release, but they’ve taken to Facebook to announce that due to a medical condition requiring local treatment, bass player Tony Diblasi “has been advised against international travel for the next few months.” As a result, they will still be appearing at Splendour In The Grass in Australia, but their European appearances will be cancelled. The group are yet to confirm exactly which dates will be cancelled. Check out their Facebook post below.
