Samsung Unveils a Galaxy S7 Edge Exclusively for Rio Olympians

Samsung’s latest exclusive Galaxy S7 Edge is headed straight to Rio, and only for Olympians. The phone is complete with the official colors of the event and the signature Olympic ringed logo. Samsung worked with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to provide 12,500 units for athletes attending the games. The phone will allow them to communicate with each other and display pertinent information, including a complete schedule, venue info, results, medal counts and real time updates. Furthermore, the phone is bundled with Gear IconX wireless earbuds, which can monitor heart rate and are perfect for training or off-time. While the phone is exclusive to Olympians, Samsung is allowing 2,016 lucky people in Brazil, the U.S., China, Germany and Korea the chance to buy one, with U.S. units being made available at Best Buy from July 18 onwards.
