Emerging streetwear brand Yarn Studios is perfectly poised to capture the zeitgeist of our times. The recently established label, based in Dusseldorf, Germany, is known for using clothing as a medium for social commentary on topics from pop culture to politics. Signature pieces produced by the brand include witty slogans that read “Trump Sucks” and “Snapchat Me That Pussy,” perfectly capturing the sense of cynicism in today’s youth towards sex and the establishment.
For its Collection One, the brand continues to perpetuate this vibe by jumping on the dystopian fashion bandwagon – producing utilitarian, military-inspired garments popularized by Kanye’s Yeezy collections.
