The Nike KD 9 "USA" Set for a July Release
Just in time for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
With Team USA taking hit after hit with stars like Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry and James Harden officially bowing out of the 2016 Summer Olympics, other NBA greats will be called upon in order for this squad to have any fighting chance of bringing that gold medal stateside. One such hopeful, is Kevin Durant. Expected to carry the team to victory, KD will likely don the red, white, and blue with this new KD 9 “USA” release. The uppers receive a clean Flyknit treatment, with bold injections of University Red and Race Blue weaving in and out, namely, on the Flywire and heel pull tab, not to mention the KD branding on the heel. The Nike KD 9 “USA” is expected to hit participating retailers on July 1.
