Nike is dropping a slip-on training shoe for on-the-go athletes at the gym. Named the Free Train connect, the shoe is constructed from mesh that provides enhanced breathability. Its slip-on design provides a hugging, locked-in fit, and the shoe is set atop a tri-star Free outsole pattern that expands and contracts with each step. A foam midsole provides enhanced comfort, while rubber zones atop the outsole provides traction. Releasing on June 2 for $100 USD, the shoe will first be available in a bright “Volt” colorway. Stay tuned to Nike.com for the drop.
