The Nike Air Rift Gets a Menacing Black Colorway
For the fleet-footed who love to rock all black everything.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Nike Air Rift—the famed sneaker-sandal that some would find its silhouette to be slightly odd, but nonetheless, beautiful. For summer 2016, Nike recently unveiled a murdered out rendition of the Rift. This new pair features a flexible outsole, midfoot and heel Velcro straps, and as always, a decoupled toe that was inspired by Kenya’s Great Rift Valley fault line. These kicks also boast a phylon midsole with an air-sole unit that will make wearers feel like they’re walking on clouds.
The Nike Air Rift “Breathe” Black is available to purchase for approximately $115 USD on Slam Jam Socialism’s official website here.
