Back in November last year, GoldLink dropped his debut album And After That, We Didn’t Talk. The 11-track LP also happened to be the first-ever rap album released through Soulection, a collective known more for their electronic releases than pure hip-hop music (then again, GoldLink doesn’t really categorize as that either.) Releasing with the label also has its perks — they’ve got access to handfuls of creative, forward-thinking world-class electronic music artists and producers. Luckily, GoldLink has utilized that connection for all of us by dropping a remix album. The project features masterful flips of standout tracks and singles like “Late Night,” “Dance On Me,” “Dark Skin Women” and more by Mr. Carmack, Brasstracks, Falcons, Gravez, Pomo, Su Na among others.
