Two Japanese industry heavyweights in BEAMS and mita sneakers have teamed up with ASICS Tiger to release a limited edition range of footwear and apparel. Unsurprisingly, the ever-present GEL-Lyte III was chosen to be the subject of this “Souvenir Jacket” collaboration, which sees a quilted velvet material applied to the retro sneaker’s base and tonal suede overlays throughout. A traditional tiger embroidery adorns the heel of the left shoe, while the right features the kanji for luck. This unique design is finished off with touches of camo along the outsole and custom insole. A selection of short-sleeved and long-sleeved graphic tees are also included in this latest drop. Look to purchase this heavyweight collaboration at BEAMS and mita sneakers starting June 11.
