Photographer Ricky Powell and artist David Flores come together with Akomplice brand for a special creative project that celebrates the powerful artistic mediums of illustration, photography and fashion.
Known for capturing notable luminaries in the arts, music and sports realms, Ricky Powell lends his iconic portraits of Eazy-E, Big L, Jean-Michel Basquiat, LL Cool J, Keith Haring and Mike Tyson to be transformed by David Flores in his signature stained glass style of illustration art. The striking visuals have been further reinterpreted into a range of custom fit, organic cotton graphic print T-shirts, blown up prints, made in USA skate decks, and the West Coast Mean Mug that features an illustration of Eazy-E. Each of the limited edition prints have been signed and numbered by the artists.
