With that being said, it’s no surprise many of these players’ spending habits pull them into bankruptcy post-retirement. But what are they spending their money on? ESPN seems to think Jordans are on the list of things to blame. According to them, tons of retired NFL players have closets packed floor-to-ceiling of only once-worn Jumpman sneakers.
