Take a Look at the Transformable Hender Scheme Samidare Shoes
Fusing the sensibilities of an elegant, heavy lug Oxford shoe and a mountaineering-inspired, shawled walking boot.

Known for ceaselessly producing a variety of some of the finest contemporary leather goods, Tokyo-based Hender Scheme has once again gone above and beyond with the introduction of a fully transformable shoe. Dubbed the Samidare, the latest addition to the company’s 2016 spring/summer offering fuses the sensibilities of an elegant, heavy lug oxford shoe and a mountaineering-inspired, shawled walking boot. The base silhouette features a ridge around the welted midsole, allowing for the seasonal pig leather cover to be attached and worn accordingly. The shawl-like cover is fully laced and is attached by means of a pop button pull tab seen around the heel counter of the oxford base. The Hender Scheme Samidare shoes are now available from Canada’s HAVEN for $934 USD.
