Stampd Attracts LA's Elite for Its Store Pre-Opening Celebration
A classic West Coast turn out.
Following our recent preview of the Los Angeles brand Stampd‘s first brick and mortar venture, we now get a glimpse at the turn out for the pre-opening celebration that took place this past Friday. The new retail space, which brought over a flurry of LA’s fashion crowd and then some, will go on to serve as the brand’s flagship location. The interior design was a collaborative effort between both Stampd’s Founder Chris Stamp and Brooklyn’s architecture and design studio Snarkitecture, who reinvented the once theater and acting studio into the beautifully simplistic and sleek retail experience with an emphasis on textural detailing.
Sitting at 1,350 square feet, the new Stampd store has its build-out comprised of the likes of raw Turkish travertine and cathedral grained white oak throughout. As for the products, the new flagship will not only carry the brand’s ready-to-wear line, but additional design and art-focused pieces geared more for the home and lifestyle. These limited edition pieces include Stampd’s “Home Goods” products, Destination T-shirts, the Futura x Stampd surfboard, and Stampd’s Regime for Filling Pieces collaboration sneaker, all sold exclusively at the location. You’ll find the store aptly located at Los Angeles’ South La Brea area, a place Stamp feels strongly about as the best place to set up shop: “[South La Brea is] the epicenter of men’s contemporary fashion in LA and home to brands I personally have a lot of respect for and who have already been paving the way in LA.” Be sure to check the new store out that’s slated to open next week. In the meantime, peep the gallery above to get a good idea of what you’ll be walking in to.
