Little is known about Japanese brand Meagratia beyond what its founder, Takafumi Sekine, has chosen to divulge. The most telling piece of the label’s identity is its poetic concept which has something to do with the gratitude — ‘gratia’ meaning ‘thankfulness’ in Latin, after all — one should feel toward the past for all it reveals about the future.
Meanwhile, the brand’s 2016 fall/winter collection showcases essential, clean and innovative pieces, including a sherpa-hooded cardigan, psychedelic bomber and a drop-shoulder crewneck with a loop (used to hold the model’s glasses in the lookbook).
