TDE Co-President Punch's Debut Album Is Coming
What the streets been missing.

Finally, TDE‘s most slept-on artist is going to drop a project. With the TDE empire continuing to expand and prosper and several new releases from the California-based crew on the horizon, TDE co-president and mastermind Punch has his debut album in the works. The Carson-based entrepreneur revealed the news during a newly-released interview with Billboard, saying:
“I think I’mma do a project for sure… I think I’m going to finally finish it because I write a lot and I record every so often. I think I’m just gonna go ahead and knock it out at this point.
“I’m starting to get that itch more and more. Before, it was like, ‘OK, I write a little bit, I can rap. Let me put it down for fun, it’s cool.’ At this point, it’s starting to turn into a burning. I really want to do it now.”
The news should come as a pleasant surprise to TDE’s diehard followers, who have no doubt been keeping an eye on Punch since he unleashed his debut song back in 2014. Since that untitled effort dropped, Punch made sporadic appearances on tracks from fellow West Coast vets. He’s also released a string of one-off loose cuts the past couple years, all of which have impressed. No word yet on the specific of Punch’s forthcoming full-length, but let’s hope he drops another new song soon. Most recently, Punch popped up on Kendrick Lamar’s most recent, surprise LP. In the past, Kendrick has also called Punch a “crazy lyricist.”
