Seiko Prospex PADI Special Edition Divers
Utilizing over half a century of dive watch making.
With a history of making dive watches that dates back to 1965, Seiko has condensed their accumulated expertise into these two latest Prospex Special Editions, created in association with world-renowned scuba training organization PADI to promote the Project AWARE ocean protection program.
First up with a distinctive red bezel is the Prospex PADI “Turtle” Automatic Diver is powered by the automatic caliber 4R36, which has 24 jewels, and a 41-hour power reserve. Housed within a 45mm stainless steel case, the timepiece is protected by a hardlex crystal and is water resistant to 200m. Meanwhile, the Kinetic GMT Diver is powered by hybrid Kinetic caliber 5M85 movement, with a power reserve of approximately six months, all of which is housed in a 47.5mm stainless steel case and water resistant to 200m. Look for both models to be released this coming fall season.
