Coffee grinders are an imperfect technology: uneven grounds, boulders and fines contribute to uneven textures that affect the taste of the final product of the coffee-brewing process. The Rafino is an elegantly designed coffee sieve that separates grounds of different size on a micron level so that you can brew a cup with the most uniform grounds possible. Simply pour your ground coffee into the Rafino, shake it up and the grounds of different sizes separate into different compartments. The result is a coffee with a uniform taste, devoid of bitterness.

For a closer look at the product, check out the video above and if you want higher quality homemade coffee in your life, head over to the product’s Kickstarter page and pledge your support.
