Charli XCX to Star in Erotic Thriller 'I Want Your Sex'
Joining leads Olivia Wilde and Cooper Hoffman.
Charli XCX, the internet’s mother of brat summer is set to star Gregg Araki‘s upcoming erotic thriller, I Want Your Sex.
Slated to star alongside Olivia Wilde and Cooper Hoffman, the film is described to focus on the “world of sex, obsession, power, betrayal and murder.” The full synopsis of the film reads, “How far is too far? When fresh-faced Elliot (Hoffman) lands an exciting job for renowned artist, icon and provocateur Erika Tracy (Wilde), his fantasies come true as Erika taps him to become her sexual muse. But Elliot soon finds himself out of his depth as Erika takes him on a journey more profound than he ever could have imagined, into a world of sex, obsession, power, betrayal and murder. Featuring outrageous characters and a playful sense of humor, I Want Your Sex will upend expectations in a way that will both shock and delight!?”
While it is uncertain what kind of role Charli will be playing, Araki has already penned the script with Karley Sciortino. Production is set for October and this film will mark Charli’s second major foray onto the big screen. Just last spring, she was cast in Daniel Goldhaber remake of the cult classic Faces of Death. Araki’s indie film is being produced and financed by Black Bear.
