Epaulet Integrates Museum Calf Leather Into Its Latest Collection
Premium marbled leather crafted in Italy.
New York-based Epaulet brings forth its latest shoe collection by using genuine Ilcea Radica Calfskin leather, better known as Museum Calf leather. Notable for its unique marbled appearance, the leather is considered to be held in high regards due to the process it takes to achieve this effect. Crafted in Italy, the look is created by a light sponging technique applied to the hide while it’s still wet. Due to the intricate procedure, Epaulet is only releasing each shoe in quantities of 50. The collection is comprised of six different styles, ranging from lace-up boots to tennis trainers in a variety of colorways. See all the designs above and pre-order a pair via Epaulet’s web shop.
