Normally imagined as a languid pursuit by mullet enthusiasts native to the seaside promenade of Venice Beach, few would ever realize that rollerskating has a core of adrenaline junkies who have evolved it into an extreme sport on the pavements and rails of cities worldwide. Meanwhile, another evolution of rollerskating has seen it go off-road up in Vancouver, B.C., where skater Dustin Werbeski has armed himself with Powerslide’s SUV all-terrain skates to tackle the forested trails of the city’s North Shore.
