River Tiber, Daniel Caesar & Frank Dukes Unveil New Collab "West"
“This song is about leaving and trying not to look back.”

Last week, River Tiber served up the official video for “No Talk,” the impressive single of his that Drake sampled. Now, he’s back with an all-new effort that already sounds like it might be better than the aforementioned record. Linking up with Daniel Caesar and Frank Dukes, River Tiber cooks up a “song about leaving and trying not to look back,” “West.” The track saw its debut earlier today on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 program, and River Tiber had the following to say about the song in a statement emailed to FADER:
“It’s a blessing to be able to make music with Frank Dukes and Daniel Caesar… This song is about leaving and trying not to look back. I pictured when I flew to California for the first time, listening to Led Zeppelin’s ‘Going to California.’ There’s something magnetic about the west coast, especially when you’re from a cold city like Toronto.”
You can give “West” a listen below.
