British designer Paul Smith is a long-time fan of the recently-discontinued Land Rover Defender. Last year, he teamed up with the British automotive company to design a signature model made using a palette of 27 individual colors to pay tribute to the car’s history in the UK military; now he has linked with Acquire Mag for a short documentary telling the story of his relationship with the quintessentially sports utility vehicle and its influence on his career trajectory, in terms of both fashion and aesthetics.
