With Kobe’s impending retirement drawing closer, fans of the Black Mamba will undoubtedly be looking for ways to commemorate his legacy before he hangs ‘em up for good. Nike has unveiled one of, if not the last, Kobe XI colorways, paying tribute to both the player’s past and present legacy. Dubbed “18-24,” the basketball silhouette is rendered in a striking purple to black gradient colorway, likely a nod to his 20 years as a Laker. His numbers 8 and 24 are placed along the heel, while the Black Mamba insignia adorns the tongue. Finished off with an icy blue sole, look to pick up the Nike Kobe XI “8-24″ at select accounts in the near future.
