Mercedes' New C43 AMG Coupe Is Ready to Run Alongside Its Sports Car Rivals
A preview before its unveiling at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

If you’re on the lookout for a sports coupe naturally a BMW M4 and an Audi S5 come to mind, but what about from the luxury sports car masterminds Mercedes-Benz? Enter the all-new 2017 C43 AMG Coupe, previewed here before its official debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Utilizing a biturbo 3.0-liter V6 engine, the C43 Coupe pumps out 362 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. Numbers like these allow the car to accelerate from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds through a surprising nine-speed automatic transmission. Mercedes also proclaims the C43’s Dynamic Select drive modes alongside a rear-biased all-wheel drive system — the coupe utilizes power to the rear wheels for the majority of the time, only sending power to the front when needed for an all-wheel drive experience. Other features include MB-Tex / DINAMICA microfiber sport seats, matte iridium silver accents, 18-inch lightweight alloy wheels and a sports exhaust system.
Check out the preview photos above and be on the lookout for this to hit the road later this year. For more power and oomph however, head over to the preview of the AMG C63 S as modified by BRABUS.
