Leica M-A "25 Years" Limited Edition Appeals to the Elite and Ultra Rich
Extremely limited and retailing for five figures.
Hot on the heels of its carbon fiber Q Typ 116 release, German optic brand Leica has come out with a new limited edition camera celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Leica Shop in Vienna. The “25 Years Leica Shop” analog M-A is paired with a NOCTILUX-M 50mm f/0.95 ASPH lens, engraved with a special edition number and comes in custom packaging. The camera itself comes in a grey hammertone finish while the lens comes in a not-often-seen silver finish with matching serial number. Fitting the occasion, only 25 of these masterpieces will be made. The set is available for purchase from the Leica Shop in Vienna for €25,000-€30,000 EUR (approximately $26,600-$32,000 USD) depending on varying local taxes.
