To celebrate 20 years of Pokémon, Swiss watch manufacturer RJ-Romain Jerome joins forces with The Pokémon Company for a limited run of watches featuring the franchise’s iconic character, Pikachu. Pikachu is featured on the face of the watch in front of a background of textured thunderbolts with a single yellow one bearing RJ-Romain Jerome branding. The watch’s dial is housed in a 46mm Moon Invader titanium case, while the black DLC-coated baseplate is given the same lightning pattern found on the face. To round up the design, the Swiss company’s emblematic articulated lugs and integrated ball-and-socket joints are highlighted by a “Pikachu yellow” vulcanized rubber strap. Limited to 20 units, RJ-Romain Jerome’s Pokémon Pikachu watch retails for a whopping $20,000 USD.
