Nike’s recent reveal of 2016’s Air Mag silhouette has done more than impress the sneaker community. Holding a raffle to help find the cure for Parkinson’s alongside The Michael J. Fox Foundation, the Swoosh has managed to welcome its fanbase to the future thanks to the great minds behind its innovation team. The duo of Tinker Hatfield and Tiffany Beers got together to discuss the transition of “Fiction to Fact” in regards to the Nike MAG’s development. Crediting the successful process to the upcoming Nike Hyperadapt 1.0’s adaptive lacing system, the tandem reflects on the difficulty of making sure the MAG’s technology wouldn’t compromise weight and comfort of the model.
