Hermès Maintains Its Classic Appeal for the 2016 Fall/Winter Collection

While many fashion houses have decided to bring back specific vintage or retro themes for their respective Fall/Winter 2016 collections, Hermès chose to adopt more of a timeless approach for its latest menswear range. The recent Paris Fashion Week was awash with oversized fits and complicated embellishments — all in good taste keep in mind. The Hermès stage however featured a more laid back, classic look to its collection, with Hermès’ Menswear Designer Véronique Nichanian opting for basic outwear pieces casually placed over more common wardrobe fits. The color scheme was also less bold than what appeared on other stages, with soft hits of blue, tan and red among mostly black pieces, however again to the effect of creating more elegantly timeless looks.
