David Bowie's 'Labyrinth' Is Confirmed for a Sequel
Who could continue Bowie’s Legacy as Jareth, The Goblin King though?

With some speculation as to whether the Jim Henson-directed 1986 Labyrinth will be rebooted as a modern appropriation, it is now confirmed that the classic film will in fact receive a sequel. The original which starred the late David Bowie and a young Jennifer Connelly followed 15-year old Sarah (Connelly) down a trippy adventure through the Labyrinth to find her baby brother, who was stolen by a demented yet seemingly seductive Goblin King by the name of Jareth (aptly played by Bowie). The film also had other notable names tied in to its production, namely George Lucas as executive producer. While there’s no news as to the storyline or cast, there is a rumor that Guardians of the Galaxy Co-Writer Nicole Perlman will be on board. Stick around for more news of the Labyrinth sequel to come.
