adidas releases a three-pack of the Crazylight Boost 2.5 in honor of Minnesota Timberwolves wingman Andrew Wiggins‘ journey into basketball. The silver and red “Marita” is dedicated to Wiggins’ mother, Olympic sprinter Marita Payne-Wiggins, who won two silver medals for Canada during the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics; the black and blue “North Star” pays tribute to Minnesota, taking inspiration from its state motto of “L’Etoile du Nord;” and the final silhouette, the dark blue and white “Home Away From Home,” commemorates Wiggins’ journey from Canada to the NBA. “Marita” is already available at select adidas retailers, while the “North Star” and “Home Away From Home” will drop for $125 USD in February.
