VIDIUS Is the World's Smallest Camera-Equipped Drone
Snap beautiful images or stream 420p video with this mini-quadcopter.
Drone specialist Axis has unveiled “VIDIUS,” the world’s smallest first-person-view quadcopter. Clocking in at 1.7 inches wide and just under an inch tall, the on-board camera is able to capture and stream video in 420p, giving pilots the ability to snap images too. The 150 mAh battery lets the user keep the drone up in the air for approximately seven minutes and is able to go from empty to fully charged in just 20 minutes. What’s more, the drone features pre-programmed algorithms dubbed “Trick Mode” which means that pilots are able to perform a range of awe-inspiring tricks with a few simple clicks of the controller. Set to drop on January 29, Axis is now accepting pre-orders of the VIDIUS quad-copter for $75 USD.
