These Are the 50 Most Famous Cars From the Last 50 Years

Nobody has every denied that cars can become as much a pop culture icon as any Hollywood star worth their salt, but Jalopnik went ahead and put together this animated video to prove the point anyways. Bringing together 50 cars from the last five decades — one for every year — that have left the most indelible mark on pop culture as a whole, illustrator Scott Parker has included the likes of the Tumblr from Batman Begins, the 1982 Pontiac Trans Am from Knight Rider, the 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor from Ghostbusters, and even the Audi RSQ from I, Robot.
