Simple and clean are what best describes up-and-coming Japanese label salvy;‘s forthcoming 2016 spring/summer collection. Launched in the fall of 2013, the young label has come to establish itself as a strong contender for high quality casual wear that utilizes fine Japanese fabrics and manufacturing techniques. This season, the Tokyo-based label also debuts its first womenswear collection, which holds designs that follow suit with the menswear line’s uncomplicated aesthetic.

Lightweight trench coats, blazers, jogger pants and shorts are offered in a very neutral color palette of whites, creams, beiges and blues. Military themes are evident not only in its designs, but also in the collection’s original fabrics which blend materials like ripstop with high quality Egyptian cotton FINX. Fine stitch-work detailing are also reminiscent of those seen in military uniforms of the ’60s.

The salvy; 2016 spring/summer collection will be available for purchase at international stockists, including International Gallery BEAMS (Japan), DELSTORE (Hong Kong), and L’Eclaireur (Paris).
