Just as we reported last month, Pyer Moss opened its 2016 spring/summer runway showing at NYFW with a graphic 10-minute video of American police brutality footage including interviews its 28-year-old founder, Kerby Jean-Raymond, conducted with the families of those that lost their lives. As models walked down the catwalk to techno beats laced with the sounds of gunshots and screams, the collection appears as a reimagination of classic sportswear with bright red hues forming a cool-weather range of tactical urbanwear.
