LeBron James Teases the Nike LeBron 13 in 'SLAM'
The first proper look at LeBron’s latest Nike Basketball sig.
With the 2015-2016 NBA season right around the corner, Nike Basketball and LeBron James have offered up the first proper look at King James’s latest signature sneaker by way of the new issue of SLAM. On the cover LeBron rocks the “Berry” edition of the shoe while the mag’s pages offer up a look at a predominately red Cavs-esque colorway. Though official tech specs won’t be available until Nike officially introduces the shoe, the LeBron 13 looks to employ many of the design features showcased on the LeBron 12, including the likes of hexagonal Zoom Air pods, Dynamic Flywire support and Hyperposite applications to the upper. One major difference, however, is a more pronounced arch for the 13 along with the addition of a carbon fiber shank. Check out the kicks above and look for issue 192 of SLAM on newsstands now.
