Nike Air Pegasus '89 "German Reunification"
Celebrating 25 years of reunification.
In celebration of the German Reunification’s 25th anniversary, Nike is set to release an aptly named colorway of the Air Pegasus ‘89 runner. The retro silhouette’s upper has been rendered in a camouflage combination using the Bundeswehr’s (West German Army) and NVA’s (East German Army) respective patterns. Further commemorative detailing is seen along the insole which features the Brandenburg Gate in addition to the dates 1990 and 2015. Rounded out with a contrasting white midsole, the limited edition Nike Air Pegasus ‘89 “German Reunification” will be available for purchase from select Swoosh accounts including Solebox starting October 2, for a price of €110 EUR (approximately $123 USD).
