Mirror Mirror Allows You to Design Your Own Clothing in Real Time

No more wondering if it’ll look good on you or not.

South Korean myDesignLab has created a mirror with sci-fi abilities straight out of Minority Report. The project, named Mirror Mirror, is basically a closet-sized mirror with a projector that simulates imagery onto your body. By first scanning your body type and movement, the projector is able to allow the user control over a set selection of colors, shapes and patterns, while also giving access to tools to draw their own styles right onto their own bodies. After the design is finished, the user can save the result or even print it on premise. This technology is already being examined for retail use, as clients like adidas has shown interest in utilizing it for its retail store use by as early as 2017. Watch the video above and for more information, check out myDesignLab.
