Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupé Edition 1
Mercedes teases its upcoming C63 DTM with a special edition of its C63 Coupé.
With Mercedes’s latest DTM set to debut in Frankfurt, the automotive giant has teased its upcoming racer with a matching version of its new C63 Coupé. Dubbed the Edition 1, the design comes decked out in the race car’s color scheme — matte grey with either yellow or black trim — while boasting a bevy of upgrades. Underneath the hood sits a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 capable of 476 horsepower in base form or 510 horsepower for the S model while other special additions include 19-inch front wheels, 20-inch rear wheels, ceramic brakes, chrome accents, an aerodynamics package — which includes a glossy black front spoiler along with matching side skirts, a rear diffuser and trunk lip spoiler — and an updated interior with racing-style bucket seats.
Though an exact release date hasn’t been revealed, the C63 Coupé Edition 1 isn’t expected to be available until August of next year with prices around $70,000 USD for the base model and $80,000 USD for the S.
