McNasty channels some NASCAR inspiration for his latest GLCO frames.
Mark McNairy and Garrett Leight California Optical are at it again, following up this summer’s “Pinehurst” release with the “Monroe” for Fall/Winter 2015. An acetate take on GLCO’s own P3 silhouette, the new design takes its name from the hometown of NASCAR legend Speedy Thompson — a McNairy favorite. Available in “Delta Matte Black,” “Echo Brown Tortoise,” and “Fox Trot Tortoise,” the design features design cues like a keyhole bridge and visible screws at the temples. All three colorways are due to be available at Garrett Leight California Optical stores and the label’s own web store beginning this October.
