Horween x adidas Originals Stan Smith Pack
The Stan Smith takes on Horween’s premium leathers.

Founded way back in 1905, Horween Leather Company has long existed as a demonstration of some of the finest handmade vegetable-tanned leathers around. Now the Chicago-based tannery has been tapped by adidas to give the iconic Stan Smith a makeover. Appearing in both mid- and low-top form, the designs come built atop the silhouette’s classic white sole unit, but see uppers of premium Essex leather for a refreshing change of pace. Finishing touches include gold foil Trefoils at the heel while the shoe’s signature tongue branding badge comes embossed right into the leather. Retailing for $160 and $150 USD, respectively, the mid- and low-top Horween-constructed Stan Smiths will soon be available at select stockists and adidas.com.
