Houston-based Greenway Coffee Co. has partnered with Yuketen to create a sneaker designed specifically for the needs of baristas. Combining the suppleness of a moccasin with the iconic high-top sneaker silhouette, the Sneaker Moc High features an upper and insole of natural vegetable-tanned leather — the upper will age with a desirable patina over time, while the insole will mold to the shape of the foot for ultimate comfort, reinforced by steel shanks in the arch and heel for optimal weight distribution. Meanwhile, the outsole is made of all-natural broken cork which provides traction even over wet floors so often found in the back-of-house.
