BRABUS Gives the Gigantic Mercedes G500 4x4² a Powerful Update
A monster of a vehicle.

German tuning specialists BRABUS has already released a number of its souped up creations this year, including the Mercedes AMG GT S, but its latest work might just be its biggest, literally. The off-road Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² has been reworked with rugged enhancements including new front bumper panels, mirror-polished underride guard, radiator grille and a hood scoop but whats more impressive is the power thats contained under the hood. A BRABUS B40 performance kit has boosted the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine with an extra 78 horsepower to 493 horsepower, and an additional 100Nm of torque to 710 Nm, ensuring drivers can be going from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. Pretty impressive for a car of that size. Complete with LED foglights, black-tinted BRABUS xexnon headlamps and a quilted leather update in the interior, stay tuned for more information on the pricing after its official unveiling at the 66th IAA in Frankfurt.
